LUXEMBOURG/DONGYING, PR China, November 2, 2010/PRNewswire-Asia/--CNPV Solar Power SA, a public limited liability company organized under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products, today announced that it has entered into a strategic agreement with the Shengli College China University of Petroleum (CUP) in sponsoring student scholarships.
The agreement was signed at a celebratory ceremony by the university’s President, Madame Zhang Lingling and CNPV’s CEO Mr. Zhang Shunfu. Excitement was clearly visible from both signatories, wherein CNPV is sponsoring scholarship funding to 31 students during 2010.
There are 3 categories of scholarships provided by CNPV including assistance to high performing students from financially disadvantaged families, students achieving consistent academic excellence and a top award to the student whose academic performance exceeded all others.
Mr Zhang Shunfu CEO of CNPV said, “We want to make sure that deserving financially disadvantaged students can finance their education, and when they graduate they have the opportunity to embark on a successful career. We are looking to these individuals to work with CNPV in the future.” Mr. B.
