LUXEMBOURG and DONGYING, China, Jan. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- CNPV Solar Power SA, a public limited liability company organized under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products, today confirmed the appointment of Mr. Anh M Nguyen as Vice President-Technology and Product Development.
Mr. Nguyen with a BSME (mechanical engineering) degree from University of Montreal, Quebec, brings more than 20 years of new product development and launch experience. His extensive involvement with photovoltaic crystalline modules and multiple development projects managed concurrently is ideally suited to the customer results focused environment in place here. His credible history, joining CNPV from BP solar, ensures that he can "hit the ground running", initially providing additional impetus to the existing developments before identifying and leading CNPV further into delivering beneficial end user features.
"Evolution and revolution;" words from Mr. Zhang Shunfu, CNPV's CEO, and Mr. Bypina Veerraju Chaudary, CNPV's COO, "Providing safe change, fast, is a pre-requisite for success in any industry, and particularly so within the photovoltaics field. End users want to make the most of their investment with the minimum of risk. Our technology evolution continues to lead the field within the mass produced arena, with the addition of Andy to our team, it has just become harder for others to catch up. The revolutionary changes take a little longer, and keeping to our ethos of not exposing our customers to undue risk is paramount in our strategy; Andy will lead the way in ensuring our predicted revolutionary changes fulfil these desires more rapidly. We eagerly await the additional creative approaches that our newly lead team will produce."
Producing creative and innovative solutions to TCVP (Technology Capital Value Process) is one of Mr. Nguyen's fortes. Understanding the requirement of a team based approach, complete with stakeholder involvement has allowed rapid introduction of excessive numbers of product developments during Andy's career. Leading his teams he has introduced new processes positively affecting quality, cost and efficiency, new ancillary equipment establishing higher rates of repeatability, and new products with directly associated tangibles for end user benefit. His prolific output is underscored by his continued clustering and development of personnel, providing motivation, guidance and support to deliver ideas into reality.
